Film 25 Years Selbstbestimmt Leben To Be and To Became

For our 25^th anniversary we created a film. Daniel Dlouhy is the director. The film shows (gives an overview in the beginning of) how Selbstbestimmt Leben has developed so far and our visions for the future. It reflects our political points of view and our goals as part of the Independent Living Movement.

The film opens up perspectives for rethinking and redefining disability. It shows in a creative and innovative way what personal assistance is by portraying real everyday life situations. Its focus is on the term normality: It is normal to live the life the way you want to, provided that the environment is accessible and personal assistance is available.
